This week’s ad is an example of what not to do. I don’t think I really need to go into detail here. But this ad is just terrible. Working at an advertising agency, I know how many steps a proposed ad has to go through, and how many hands touch an ad, before it gets produced. So the fact that this outdoor poster made it through all internal reviews, client reviews, etc, without anyone raising a red flag is just beyond me.
Ukrainian travel agency Multipass teamed with Kiev ad agency Tabasco to produce this outdoor poster campaign to promote travel to Asia. I almost didn’t post this ad, but it is so bad and is an excellent example of how an agency WAY crossed the line from humor to blatant racism.
