Today’s ad is an oldie, but a goodie.
To promote its Citi Identity Theft Solutions service which was introduced in October 2003, Citibank decided to go the humorous route. They came up with a campaign to illustrate how identity theft can damage the financial lives of victims. The ads show the victims speaking with the voices of the identity thieves – talking about everything they purchased with the money that they stole.
They are extremely effective and perfectly illustrate how identity theft can impact any regular person. Check out my favorite one from the campaign below:
